Travelling to Crowne Plaza Melbourne

There are several self-parking options close to Crowne Plaza Melbourne which guests are welcome to use.

Please feel free to drop off your bags at Concierge at the hotel entrance prior to parking your car. With any public parking location, we recommend being vigilant, taking precautions against potential crime and note that parking at any car park is done so at your own risk.

Exit Tullamarine Airport (MEL) and take the Melbourne City Express Skybus from Terminal 1 (T1) to the Skybus Coach Terminal. This bus trip takes 25 minutes. Exit the Skybus Coach Terminal and walk 10 minutes, 700m, to Crowne Plaza Melbourne.
Alternatively, exit the Skybus Coach Terminal and take Tram 96 St Kilda Beach from Southern Cross Station two stops to Batman Park/Spencer Street. This free tram ride takes 4-minutes.

Via a car, taxi, or rideshare, drive 23-minutes from Tullamarine Airport (MEL) to Crowne Plaza Melbourne. If you’d like to organise a private transfer, our Concierge will happily organise this for you.

A short 7-minute walk away, Southern Cross Station is one of Melbourne’s main train stations in the city grid, located at the western edge of the Central Business District on Spencer Street, between Collins Street and La Trobe Street. From Southern Cross Station, guests can explore the inner and outer suburbs of Melbourne or connect to wider Victoria through the V-Line train network.

The hotel is situated within the Free Tram Zone which offers complimentary tram travel without a Myki card, within the city grid.
There are multiple tram stops metres away from the hotel entrance. On Spencer Street, Stop 124-Batman Park services trams 12, 96 and 109 , while Stop D6-Victoria Police Centre on Flinders Street services trams 70, 75. You can also catch the free City Circle tram from Flinders Street which travels around the main perimeters and covers Melbourne’s various major tourist attractions.
